1. Facials and Chemical Peels
Medications:
Accutane (Isotretinoin): Avoid facials and chemical peels while on Accutane and for at least 6-12 months after stopping the medication.
Retinoids (Retin-A, Tretinoin): Stop use 5-7 days before the treatment.
Antibiotics (oral or topical): Some antibiotics may increase skin sensitivity. Consult your doctor before treatment.
Medical Conditions:
Active Cold Sores (Herpes Simplex Virus): Avoid facial treatments during an outbreak.
Rosacea or Eczema: May require gentler treatments; consult with a professional.
